QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university
Professional Registration:
- Dubai Municipality attestation and registration as an engineer with the relevant professional society (mandatory)
Experience:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in the UAE market, preferably in electrical infrastructure, MEP design, or EV charging projects
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical drafting and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of UAE electrical codes and standards (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Dubai Municipality)
- Familiarity with electrical load calculations and distribution systems
Other Requirements:
Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Deliverables:
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for electrical works and equipment
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for electrical distribution systems
- Create detailed Load Schedules and load calculations
- Produce technical drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation using AutoCAD
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and authority representatives
- Support site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments
- Assist in obtaining authority approvals (DEWA NOC, Dubai Municipality permits)
- Liaise with equipment suppliers and service providers
Engineering Support:
- Work under the supervision of the Senior Engineer on project assignments
- Assist in technical reviews, design validation, and quality control
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records
