Established in 2009 GMCO have fostered a discovery led approach to mine development since its formation the company has made two major discoveries at Jabal Qutman (Gold) and in the Wadi Bidah (Copper-Gold VMS) which are now moving through Feasibility assessment, as well as several smaller discoveries across its licence portfolio. GMCO operates across one of the largest Exploration land packages in Saudi Arabia with access to over 2200km of ground across 29 Exploration licences a further 275km (Four licences) are shortly to be issued following the conclusion of the latest MIM Round 9 bidding process.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrician to support electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects. The successful candidate will work closely with senior electricians to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of tasks across commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Prepare work areas, install raceways, conduits, wiring, and electrical devices under supervision.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical circuits and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, document findings, and implement solutions.
- Adhere to safety practices and comply with codes and standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate progress and issues effectively.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in a clean and organized manner.
Required Qualifications
0-2 years of experience in electrical work
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations
- Apprenticeship, or completion of an electrical trade program
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and electrical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
