POSITION: JUNIOR ESTIMATOR
JOB SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking an ESTIMATOR with at least 3 years of experience in pricing for glass, mirror, and decorative metals. This role requires a clear understanding of the estimating process. You will be expected to work from a bill of quantities or a set of drawings from the client and provide price estimates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather and compile data on costs for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine project scope.
- Prepare preliminary estimates and assist in reviewing final estimates.
- Maintain and update cost databases and estimation tools.
- Assist senior estimators in preparing cost estimates for projects.
- Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to ensure accurate project planning.
- If needed, participate in site visits to gather information for estimation purposes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of experience in Glass, Metal, or Fitout IS A MUST.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Strong experience in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite
