Junior Financial Analyst & Business Development Executive

Role Description

We are seeking a Junior Financial Analyst & Business Development Executive to support our financial consulting and advisory services in Qatar. The role combines financial analysis, client engagement, and business development support. It is suitable for candidates with approximately 3 years of experience who are motivated by performance-based commissions in addition to base salary.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Analysis & Advisory Support

Assist in preparing:

Financial statement analysis (liquidity, profitability, leverage ratios)

Cash flow reviews and basic financial projections

Feasibility studies and business plans

Support preparation of bank-ready financial reports and presentations.

Review client financial information and highlight key risks and improvement areas.

2. Business Development & Client Engagement

Support identification and approach of Qatar-based SMEs, contractors, and corporates.

Participate in client meetings, calls, and follow-ups.

Prepare proposals, presentations, and engagement documents.

Support conversion of leads into signed consulting engagements.

Maintain client pipeline and reporting.

3. Commercial Contribution

Contribute to revenue generation through:

Client referrals

Lead follow-up and conversion

Support in closing consulting mandates

Eligible for commission and performance incentives based on:

Clients acquired

Consulting fees generated

Successfully closed engagements

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

24 years experience in one or more of:

Financial analysis

Consulting support

Banking (credit analysis, corporate banking support)

Business development in professional services

Familiarity with:

Financial statements

Basic corporate finance concepts

Client-facing professional environments

Qatar market exposure is a strong advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and numerical skills

Professional communication (English required; Arabic is a strong advantage)

Commercial awareness and willingness to engage clients

Good Excel and PowerPoint skills

Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented

Compensation Structure (Typical for Qatar)

Fixed base salary (junior level)

Commission on acquired clients
