Position: Junior Florist Cum Store Assistant

Job Overview

Kanara Flowers Trading LLC is looking for a Junior Florist Cum Store Assistant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have an interest in flowers, basic floristry skills, and the ability to support daily store and flower handling operations.

Key Responsibilities

Florist Duties

Assist in preparing bouquets, flower arrangements, and floral orders.
Handle fresh flowers carefully to maintain quality and freshness.
Assist with flower cutting, cleaning, conditioning, and arranging.
Support the senior florist with daily customer and order requirements.
Prepare flowers for wholesale and retail customers.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the floral work area.

Store Duties

Receive and check incoming flower shipments.
Arrange and store flowers and other products properly in the cold room/store.
Assist with stock counting and daily inventory checks.
Monitor flower quality and identify damaged or wilted products.
Assist with packing and preparing customer orders.
Support loading and unloading of flower boxes when required.
Maintain a clean and organized store and working area.

Requirements

Previous experience in floristry, flower shops, flower wholesale, or a similar role is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of different types of fresh flowers and foliage.
Good physical fitness and ability to work in a cold-room environment.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced flower wholesale environment.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
Candidates currently in the UAE are preferred.
