PulseMediaNL is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Front-End Developer to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about web development and user experience, with a strong interest in building responsive and user-friendly digital interfaces while growing technical skills in a collaborative remote environment.
Responsibilities
Front-End Development & Support
- Assist in developing and maintaining responsive web applications and user interfaces
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable front-end code
- Support implementation of website features, updates, and improvements
- Collaborate with design and development teams to create seamless user experiences
UI/UX Implementation
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into functional web pages
- Ensure websites and applications are optimized for usability and responsiveness
- Assist with cross-browser compatibility testing and debugging
- Support accessibility and performance optimization initiatives
Testing & Troubleshooting
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve front-end issues and bugs
- Assist with testing applications to ensure functionality and quality standards
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements where needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of development tasks and updates
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with developers, designers, and project teams on ongoing initiatives
- Stay updated on front-end development trends, tools, and best practices
- Contribute ideas for improving workflows, design implementation, and user experience
- Follow established coding standards and development procedures
Requirements
About the Ideal Candidate
- 1–2 years of experience in front-end development, internships, or related projects
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks or libraries is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a remote environment
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is a plus
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in web development, computer science, or a related field is a plus
