Junior Interior Designer

About the Role:
As a
Junior Interior Designer, you will support the design team in bringing creative concepts to life. You'll collaborate closely with senior designers, contribute to design development, prepare technical documentation, and participate in project execution from concept to completion.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing interior design concepts in alignment with client goals and design direction
- Create mood boards, sketches, and concept presentations under senior designer supervision
- Produce CAD drawings, 3D renderings, and construction documents with technical accuracy
- Research and recommend materials, finishes, and furniture options
- Maintain and organize the material library
- Support in FF&A documentation and procurement coordination
- Help prepare furniture layouts and circulation plans that optimize space usage
- Conduct site visits to support project implementation and ensure design intent is met
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to gather quotes, samples, and product details
- Participate in internal coordination meetings and design workshops
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and innovations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 13 years of experience in interior design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, V-Ray/Corona, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Rhino, and Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and space planning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment
Working Conditions:
- Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Location: Zamalek, Cairo
