About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Legal Executive / Paralegal to join our in-house legal team within a pharmaceutical distribution company. This role is ideal for a junior legal professional with strong organizational skills and hands-on experience in contract review and drafting, who is looking to grow in a regulated, commercial environment.
The successful candidate will support the legal function across contract management, coordination with external counsel, compliance support, and legal administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and revise commercial contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, supplier and distribution agreements
- Identify and clearly summarize legal and commercial issues for senior legal counsel
- Support contract negotiations by managing revisions and incorporating comments
- Maintain and update contract databases, trackers, and legal records
- Track contract execution, renewal dates, and key contractual milestones
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on routine matters, including document exchange and follow-ups
- Assist in preparing instructions and background materials for external counsel
- Support compliance and regulatory documentation relevant to the pharmaceutical sector
- Manage the Head of Legal's calendar, deadlines, and administrative legal tasks
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (sales, finance, procurement, operations) on contract-related matters
- Provide general legal and administrative support to the legal department
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Law
- 1- 3 years of experience in a paralegal or junior legal role (law firm or in-house)
- Experience reviewing and drafting commercial contracts is required
- Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or regulated industries is an advantage
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information
