Core Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute routine maintenance schedules for CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of wear items like belts and bearings.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Assist in diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults; perform basic repairs on spindles, ball screws, and lubrication systems.
- Machine Calibration: Support the setup and calibration of machine tools to ensure they operate within specified tolerances and production standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, parts used, and machine downtime in ERP or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Inventory Management: Monitor spare parts levels for common CNC components and assist in raising requisitions for replacements.
