Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design, implementation, and supervision of mechanical systems for swimming pools, fountains, waterfalls, and integrated water features. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing shop drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning:

Design and develop mechanical systems for swimming pools, fountains, waterfalls, and water features.

Prepare detailed shop drawings for piping networks, pumps, filters, and control systems.

Documentation & Specifications:

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications for mechanical components.

Ensure all documentation aligns with project requirements and industry standards.

Software Proficiency:

Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for drafting, modeling, and documentation.

Maintain accurate and updated mechanical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

Supervision & Quality Assurance:

Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site.

Ensure all installations comply with design specifications, safety standards, and client expectations.

Coordination & Collaboration:

Coordinate effectively with other engineering disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Architecture) during design and construction phases.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical input to ensure integrated project delivery.

Compliance & Standards:

Ensure all mechanical systems meet local regulations, environmental standards, and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

23 years of hands-on experience in mechanical systems design, preferably in swimming pools, water features, or hydromechanical projects.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory.

Experience in preparing shop drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

Strong understanding of piping systems, pumps, filtration, and control systems.

Familiarity with on-site supervision, installation, and commissioning processes.

Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of local and international codes related to pool and water feature systems.

Experience with hydraulic modeling or water flow simulation software.

Certification or training in MEP coordination or BIM management.

Previous experience in GCC or MENA region projects.
