We are looking to hire a talented and motivated Junior Network & Security Engineer to join our IT team.

Position:

Junior Network & Security Engineer

Location :New Nozha Cairo

Key Responsibilities:

Configure, monitor, and maintain Sophos firewalls and endpoint protection solutions.

Implement and manage Veeam backup and disaster recovery systems.

Troubleshoot network performance issues and ensure high system availability.

Monitor network traffic for security threats and respond to incidents promptly.

Maintain and update security policies, firewall rules, and VPN configurations.

Collaborate with internal teams to design and support secure network architectures.

Perform regular vulnerability assessments and patch management.

Ensure servers and network systems are updated with the latest patches and security features.

Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring performance and security.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

1 year of experience in network security or IT infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with Sophos firewalls and Veeam backup solutions.

Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Familiarity with VPNs, IPS, and endpoint security systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and good communication abilities.
