Role OverviewWe're looking for aJunior Odoo Developerto join our Product & Engineering team. You'll work alongside senior developers, tech leads, and product managers to build and optimize custom Odoo modules that support Yodawy's operationscovering areas like warehouse management, helpdesk automation, POS, and integrations with external systems.
You'll have the opportunity to grow rapidly by working on real business challenges, collaborating with cross-functional squads, and learning industry best practices in code quality, performance, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Helpdesk, etc.).
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python and XML code following Yodawy's standards.
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving Odoo-related issues across environments.
- Collaborate with product owners and QA engineers to ensure new features meet functional requirements.
- Integrate Odoo with external systems via APIs (REST, JSON, etc.).
- Contribute to technical documentation, version control (Git), and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews and sprint ceremonies as part of your squad.
- Continuously learn Odoo best practices and contribute to process and performance improvements.
RequirementsTechnical Skills
- 12 years of experience in Odoo development or strong academic exposure to Python development.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, ORM, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and XML for Odoo UI customization.
- Familiarity with Linux-based environments.
- Understanding of REST APIs and integration patterns is a plus.

- Contribution to open-source Odoo projects or small side projects.
