Job Description

Role Overview:

The Junior Project Manager will support the Executive Vice President (EVP) across strategic initiatives, partnerships, and operational projects. This highly transversal role offers exposure to all key functions of the insurance value chainincluding Underwriting, Reinsurance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Sales, Claims, Finance, and IT. The role involves hands-on work in partnership development, commercial analysis, process optimization, and executive-level reporting.

This position suits a candidate with strong analytical skills, solid financial understanding, a genuine interest in insurance, and ambition to grow into a future leadership or specialist role.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Implementation & Management

  • Support the EVP in the end-to-end rollout of new partnerships, including:
  • Business case development with P&L analysis
  • Partner onboarding
  • Process design and optimization, including AI enabled enhancements where relevant
  • Commercial review and pricing analysis
  • Contract review in coordination with Legal, Compliance, and Reinsurance

Manage and enhance existing partnerships by:

  • Monitoring performance through financial and operational analysis
  • Mapping and improving end-to-end processes
  • Identifying optimization opportunities using both traditional and AI supported methods
  • Supporting new commercial initiatives and negotiations

Executive Support & Reporting:

  • Prepare agendas, reports, and executive-ready presentations for:
  • Board of Directors
  • Chairman updates
  • Rating agencies (e.g., Moody's, S&P)
  • Synthesize complex data into clear, concise insights using advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • 23 years of experience in insurance, project management, consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in the insurance industry and eagerness to build deep expertise.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret financial statements (P&L exposure).
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, financial modelling basics, analytics) and PowerPoint (structured, executive-level presentations).
  • Interest or experience in leveraging AI tools for process optimization, analytics, or productivity.
  • Interest in commercial negotiations, contract terms, and partnership models.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective project management, prioritization, and deadline management.
  • Strong collaboration abilities to work across departments and with various seniority levels.
  • Ability to serve as a coordination point between the EVP and internal/external stakeholders.
