Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Shop Drawing Engineer, based in Cairo, Egypt. The Junior Shop Drawing Engineer will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed shop drawings, coordinating with architects and project teams, reviewing designs, and ensuring that all drawings meet project specifications and standards. The role also involves revising and amending drawings based on client feedback or project requirements, collaborating closely with the engineering and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Ability to create detailed and accurate shop drawings based on project specifications
• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering concepts, materials, and construction methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams and consultants
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to revise drawings as per feedback
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Prior experience in shop drawings for construction projects is a plus
