Site Civil Engineer (Infrastructure, Landscape & Construction Projects)
We are seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer with a proven track record in infrastructure, landscaping, and construction projects to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site execution, ensuring strict compliance with quality and safety standards, and delivering projects within the agreed timelines and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring work is executed in line with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, supervisors, and workers to ensure smooth site operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at all times.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and material usage to minimize delays, wastage, and cost overruns.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily/weekly site progress reports, escalating critical issues to the Project Manager as needed.
- Conduct inspections, implement quality control measures, and ensure all work meets the required standards.
- Manage and oversee infrastructure works including underground utilities, paving, asphalt, and irrigation systems.
- Handle landscaping works, including both soft and hard finishes, decorative elements, and hardscape furniture installations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 12 years of UAE site experience in infrastructure and landscaping projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of drawings, specifications, and QA/QC procedures.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure utilities, paving, asphalt, irrigation systems, and landscape finishing works.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
