launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February

2019. The noon ecosystem of services now marketplaces for food delivery, quick commerce,

fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we're six years in, but only 5% done.

Role Overview

As a Junior Site Merchandiser for the Noon GCC team, you will play a key role in supporting the expansion and day-to-day merchandising operations across Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain. You will help ensure that the Noon platforms in these markets are optimally merchandised, customer-centric, and commercially effective.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, data-driven, and eager to learn about e-commerce merchandising in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure products are visually and commercially well-presented on the Noon website across GCC markets (Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain).
  • Manage and execute onsite campaigns using Noon's CMS, including banners, widgets, and promotional placements.
  • Maintain high-quality product presentation by managing titles, images, descriptions, attributes, pricing, and availability.
  • Curate product assortments, optimize product placement, and enhance site navigation to improve overall user experience.
  • Execute site merchandising updates in line with campaigns, promotions, and seasonal calendars.
  • Regularly audit the website to ensure products are accurately displayed, easy to find, and aligned with brand and marketplace standards.
  • Monitor key site metrics such as traffic, conversion, and availability, and flag gaps or improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns, callouts, and updates go live smoothly and on time.
  • Conduct basic competitor and market checks to understand merchandising trends and best practices.
  • Identify and escalate site issues impacting product visibility, customer experience, or sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in ecommerce, creative marketing or social media marketing.
  • Experience working in or catering to GCC markets, with understanding of local preferences and cultural nuances will be a plus - not mandatory
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into actionable creative strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
