We are seeking a passionate and driven
Junior Sous Chef to support the culinary leadership team in delivering authentic, high-quality
Italian fine dining cuisine. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence aligned with luxury dining standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and execute Italian dishes in line with established recipes and fine dining standards
- Supervise kitchen team members during service, ensuring consistency and quality
- Ensure proper food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness
- Support inventory control, stock rotation, and mise en place planning
- Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen team members
Qualifications & Experience
- Culinary qualification or relevant professional training
- Minimum 23 years of experience in Italian cuisine, preferably in fine dining or 5-star establishments
- Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and plating standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
