Junior Structural Engineer

Role Description:

We are looking for a Junior Structural Engineer with a strong design background and hands-on experience in BIM to join our structural design team. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of structural engineering projects from design development through detailed design, while ensuring compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and BIM standards..

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and development of structural designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Develop and maintain structural BIM models in Revit in accordance with project requirements and BIM standards.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, MEP, and other disciplines to identify and resolve design and modelling clashes.
• Prepare structural plans, sections, details, schedules, and construction documentation.
• Assist senior engineers in structural analysis, design calculations, and design development.
• Review BIM models and drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and incorporate technical comments into drawings and models.
• Support the preparation of design submissions and ensure deliverables are completed within project timelines.
• Assist in resolving design and technical issues during the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all structural deliverables comply with relevant international/local codes, standards, and design guidelines.
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of structural drawings and BIM models.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering and BIM.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience using BIM software for structural projects.
• Previous experience working with engineering or architectural design consultancies is mandatory.
• Strong structural design background with experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Experience in high-rise residential, hospitality, commercial, or mixed-use projects is highly preferred.
• Experience working through multiple project stages, including Concept, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, and Construction Documentation.
