Job Title: Junior Structural Engineer (BIM Modeler)

Experience: 2-4 Years (UAE Experience is a must)

Job Overview:

As a Structural BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed digital models of structures using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software (Revit). Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will contribute to the creation of a comprehensive and coordinated model that aids in the design, analysis, and construction of buildings and infrastructure projects.

• Revit Experience is a must
• Design Consultancy is a must
• Bachelor in Civil/ Stru Engineering is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Model Creation:

• Develop 3D models of structural elements (beams, columns, slabs, etc.) using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the BIM model, incorporating design information from various disciplines.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project team members to integrate their respective designs into the overall BIM model.
• Attend coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure interdisciplinary coordination.

Documentation:

• Generate 2D drawings and construction documents from the 3D BIM model.
• Maintain and update the BIM model throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular quality checks on the BIM model to identify and rectify any errors or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project-specific requirements.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate with project team members to address queries and provide necessary information.
• Collaborate with other BIM Modelers to maintain consistency across the entire BIM project.

Training and Development:

• Stay informed about the latest BIM technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler in the AEC industry 5-7 Years.
• Proficiency in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BIM certification.
• Experience in clash detection and resolution.
• Knowledge of parametric modeling and scripting.
