About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Structural Concrete Engineer to support our structural team in the design, detailing, and coordination of reinforced concrete structures. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in concrete design and drafting, eager to grow technically and contribute to high-quality construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support in Structural Concrete Design

• Assist senior engineers in designing reinforced concrete elements (foundations, columns, slabs, walls).
• Perform basic structural calculations and reinforcement estimates.

2. Drafting & Modeling

• Create and update structural concrete models in Revit.
• Produce 2D drawings including formwork plans, reinforcement details, and sections.
• Ensure alignment with architectural and MEP models.

3. Reinforcement Detailing

• Assist in preparing BBS (Bar Bending Schedules) and rebar layouts.
• Apply reinforcement detailing standards in documentation.

4. Technical Documentation

• Contribute to construction document preparation.
• Maintain drawing files, version control, and redline updates.
• Support structural calculation package preparation.

5. Coordination & Interface Support

• Participate in coordination with architectural and MEP teams.
• Help identify and report clashes or alignment issues.

6. Site Support & Field Work

• Attend site visits to document progress and collect field data.
• Assist in reviewing concrete pour sequences and reinforcement installation.
• Support RFI responses and contractor clarifications.

7. Code & Standards Compliance

• Apply basic principles from ACI, SBC (Saudi Building Code), and project standards.
• Ensure compliance of reinforcement and design details under guidance.

8. Continuous Learning

• Attend design reviews, meetings, and site inspections.
• Seek mentorship and improve knowledge in concrete design standards.

Qualifications & Skills

1–3 years of experience in structural concrete design and detailing

Strong understanding of reinforced concrete behavior and load paths

Proficient in Revit and structural drafting

Ability to interpret structural drawings and detailing standards

Experience in BBS preparation and rebar detailing

Good coordination and communication skills

Site observation and reporting experience

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
