Lead end-to-end implementation and rollout of Shopify across multiple countries, ensuring local, legal, and brand requirements are met.
Act as the primary onshore point of contact between business, franchise/JV partners, offshore/onshore delivery teams, and technology vendors.
Own and prioritize the implementation roadmap, backlog, and release plan for assigned markets.
Ensure consistency of global templates while allowing for local market customization needs (catalog, pricing, promotions, payment, shipping, loyalty, tax).
Oversee integrations with OMS, ERP, CRM, POS, payment gateways, and 3PL/logistics partners.
Support franchise/JV partners on store setup, configuration, and operational readiness (training, playbooks, SOPs).
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies; provide clear status reporting to senior stakeholders across countries.
Champion best practices in e-commerce, security, data privacy, and brand consistency across all Shopify instances.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 35 years leading Shopify or Shopify Plus implementations.
Proven experience working in franchise and/or joint venture retail models (country partners, master franchisees, or licensees).
Strong understanding of the Shopify ecosystem: themes, apps, checkout, multi-store/multi-country setups, and core integrations.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams (business, IT, vendors, and offshore delivery).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present clearly to CXO-level stakeholders and country leadership.
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, especially with external partners (franchisees, JVs, agencies).
Solid knowledge of e-commerce fundamentals: catalog and content management, promotions, payments, taxation, logistics, and customer experience.
Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, solution design walkthroughs, UAT, and cutover/go-live planning.
Comfortable working in a matrix, fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent country rollouts.
