Role Overview
The Key Account Manager Mining is responsible for managing and expanding strategic client relationships within the mining sector. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and identifying new business opportunities while delivering tailored commercial and operational solutions.
Preference: Saudi are preferred. Candidates with proven sales experience in mining projects will be given priority.
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Key Responsibilities
1. Key Account Growth & Business Development
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic mining sector clients.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue, market share, and account profitability.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with business and sales objectives.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities, projects, and customer acquisition within the mining sector.
2. Strategic Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers, procurement teams, and site management.
- Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and performance reviews.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.
3. Solution Delivery & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Analyze customer operations, challenges, and future project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, supply chain, and service) to deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries, issues, and service requests.
- Align internal stakeholders to meet customer expectations and service standards.
4. Commercial & Contract Management
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract renewals.
- Prepare and manage tenders, bids, and proposals.
- Ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets across key accounts.
- Monitor contract execution and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and mining sector developments.
- Identify and track new business opportunities within existing and potential accounts.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activities.
- Provide insights to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mining, or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in sales or key account management within the mining operation / sector.
- Proven track record of managing large accounts and achieving sales targets.
