Job description:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with strategically important clients. The KAM acts as the primary point of contact between the company and key clients, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
Activities
- Understand client needs and objectives, and ensure the delivery of customized solutions.
- Lead RFQ and participate in sign-off with respective product leaders.
- Develop a deep understanding of the client's business and industry to identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitor account performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams (e.g., Products, customer support, operations) to ensure service excellence.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs
- Work closely with RKAM/GKAM/TKA in preparing business reviews materials on a periodic basis (monthly & quarterly)
Risk and Business Continuity
The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Risk & Business Continuity is responsible for managing strategic client relationships, ensuring the delivery of tailored risk management and business continuity solutions. The KAM acts as a trusted advisor, providing insights, guidance, and support to clients in identifying, mitigating, and responding to operational, reputational, and regulatory risks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts related to risk and business continuity services.
- Understand clients organizational risk profiles and business continuity needs to offer suggested solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, and update risk and continuity plans.
- Lead regular account reviews, risk assessments, and plan testing/exercises with clients.
- Monitor emerging risks and proactively communicate potential impacts and mitigation strategies to clients.
- Manage contract renewals, service-level agreements, and reporting for assigned accounts.
- Deliver client workshop sessions related to business continuity and risk management.
- Track client satisfaction and act on feedback to strengthen relationships and service delivery.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes, threats, and industry best practices.
QHSE
- Participate in the set-up and follow-up of internal standard procedures to enhance productivity and transparency
- Maintain acceptable Health, Safety and Environmental risk levels in his/her area of responsibility
- Ensure the compliance with applicable legal requirements
