Role Description The Senior Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of SME and retail clients in the auto and factoring finance segments. This role includes building long-term client relationships, understanding client financing needs, and recommending suitable financial solutions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and FRA regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing the full account lifecycle, preparing and reviewing proposals, coordinating with credit, operations, and collections teams, and monitoring portfolio performance and risk. The Senior Account Manager will negotiate terms, resolve client issues, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive revenue and portfolio quality. The role also includes preparing regular reports, contributing to process improvement, and supporting junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management and account management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and credit assessment, including evaluating client financials, risk profiles, and repayment capacity.
- Experience in auto finance, factoring, or broader financial services, preferably within a regulated environment in Egypt.
- Solid communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications in finance or credit are an advantage.
- Comfort working with CRM systems and MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint) for reporting and portfolio tracking.
- Ability to work on-site in Cairo, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adhere to FRA regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Prior experience in a senior or mid-level account management role, ideally within automotive or SME financing, is highly beneficial.
