Key Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and analyze key account perforsuring contract compliance and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, meeting customer expectations.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
- Prepare and present reports on key account performance, client feedback, and business opportunities.
Business Development & Growth:
- Identify new business opportunities within existing key accounts and potential strategic clients.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Assist in the development of customized logistics solutions to enhance clients.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to create tailored proposals and presentations.
- Support contract negotiations and renewals to optimize revenue and long-term partnerships.
Operational & Strategic Coordination:
- Liaise with internal departments (operations, finance, and customer service) to ensure smooth logistics and transportation services.
- Work with the operations team to resolve service challenges and enhance efficiency.
- Contribute to the company's strategic goals by providing insights from key account interactions.
- Develop client-specific strategies to improve service delivery and customer experience.
Performance & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Regularly update senior management on key account developments and revenue forecasts.
- Ensure accurate documentation of client agreements, correspondence, and performance metrics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in Key Account Management and/or Business Development within the transportation & logistics sector.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and transportation operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data and develop strategic business plans.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and business analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field is preferred.
