We are looking for a highimpact Key Account Manager whois responsible for growing and retaining strategic customer accounts while also identifying, developing, and winning new business opportunities. It is ideal for someone who thrives in strategic relationship management, excels in complex negotiations, and can drive sustainable revenue growth through strong partnerships with toptier national clients.

This position combines longterm account development with proactive exploration of new customers to strengthen our market presence and accelerate business expansion.

How you create impact

  • Own and develop key accounts, acting as the primary link between customers and Kuehne+Nagel in line with agreed targets and company guidelines.
  • Plan and execute account strategies, define value propositions, and shape tender approaches in collaboration with business units.
  • Lead structured customer reviews to align on strategy, priorities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor monthly performance (volume, pipeline, overdue) and initiate corrective actions when needed.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, maintain a strong pipeline, and achieve high closing ratios.
  • Negotiate rates with customers in alignment with the relevant business units, ensuring rate sheets are properly documented and maintained.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new business and effective handover to operations

What we would like you to bring

  • Min 5 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within the Middle East market
  • Strong strategic account management skills with proven success in growing and retaining key customers
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills fluent in English and Arabic
  • Solid understanding of Sea, Air, and Road Logistics, including customs processes
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with a proactive, continuousimprovement mindset
  • High proficiency in Excel and strong analytical capabilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the cluster healthcare industry experience is an advantage
