The Key Account Manager – Saudi Arabia is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening BISSELL's presence across the Kingdom by managing key retail partnerships. The role owns the end-to-end commercial relationship with major retail accounts, including forecasting, order management, product listings, promotional planning, pricing, category growth, and in-store execution. Working closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Retail partners, the Key Account Manager ensures excellent execution of annual business plans, maximizes retail performance, and delivers sustainable, profitable growth. This position requires strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to build long-term strategic relationships with key customers. This role reports to Country Manager - KSA
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Key Account Management & Sales
- Manage and develop relationships with BISSELL's three key retail accounts in Saudi Arabia.
- Prepare sales forecasts and ensure forecast accuracy in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Manage customer purchase orders and ensure timely fulfilment through close coordination with the Supply Chain team.
- Drive new product listings and ensure successful product launches across all assigned retailers.
- Develop annual sales targets by retailer, category, and store, while tracking performance against objectives.
- Conduct regular business reviews with retailers to identify growth opportunities and improve account performance.
- Create Annual Joint Business Plans (JBP) for each key account and conduct quarterly business reviews.
Commercial Planning & Execution
- Develop annual promotional calendars in line with BISSELL's commercial strategy.
- Recommend promotional offers and ensure flawless execution across all assigned retailers.
- Monitor retail pricing, promotions, and competitor activities to maintain market competitiveness.
- Plan and manage account-specific marketing budgets, in-store activities, seasonal campaigns, and customer events.
- Coordinate retailer marketing initiatives with BISSELL's Marketing team, including influencer campaigns, product launches, and promotional activations.
- Ensure all agreed commercial initiatives are executed on time and within budget.
Supply Chain & Operations
- Collaborate with BISSELL Supply Chain and retailer replenishment teams to ensure product availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and shipment schedules to minimize stock shortages and overstock situations.
- Resolve supply-related issues proactively to maintain high customer service levels.
Retail Excellence & Field Execution
- Conduct regular store visits to evaluate execution standards, identify opportunities, and improve visibility.
- Ensure agreed planograms, merchandising standards, displays, and promotional materials are properly implemented.
- Allocate permanent and seasonal promoters based on business priorities in collaboration with the Trade Marketing Executive.
- Plan and allocate promotional stands and display locations across assigned retailers.
- Identify opportunities to improve product visibility, shelf share, and shopper engagement.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Review weekly and monthly sales performance, inventory, and promotional effectiveness.
- Analyze sales trends, category performance, and customer insights to recommend improvement actions.
- Prepare performance reports, business reviews, and commercial presentations for management and customers.
- Track KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
Training & Customer Engagement
- Conduct product training sessions for BISSELL promoters and retailer field sales teams.
- Ensure retail teams have up-to-date product knowledge, selling techniques, and competitive understanding.
- Support product demonstrations, retailer events, and customer engagement activities whenever required.
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of Key Account Management or Sales experience within consumer durables, home appliances, FMCG, or retail.
- Proven experience managing large national retail accounts in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, forecasting, category management, and promotional planning.
- Experience in Joint Business Planning (JBP), sales analysis, and commercial negotiations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Trade Marketing.
