Account Manager – WHX Healthcare
About the Role
Vibes Events is seeking a commercially driven Account Manager to join the team at WHX Healthcare (part of Informa Markets World Healthcare Week portfolio). In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing exhibitor accounts while actively developing new business opportunities. You will meet clients face to face, attend shows, and be evaluated on both account retention and new revenue growth.
Location: Informa Markets – WHX Healthcare (One Central, World Trade Centre 2, Dubai)
Reporting To: Head of Sales – WHX Healthcare
Contract Duration: Immediate Start – Until 31 January 2027
Working Days: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Saturday & Sunday Off)
What You'll Do
Account Management & Customer Retention
- Achieve and exceed set revenue targets for assigned products and events within agreed timelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients throughout the full event cycle
- Provide on-site account management at shows to ensure high levels of exhibitor satisfaction
New Business Development
- Prospect for and generate new business opportunities within the assigned geography and sector
- Develop additional revenue streams including sponsorship and non-square metre opportunities
- Conduct effective client meetings and calls each week, monitoring and researching the market using online resources
Reporting, CRM & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
- Complete regular updates on sales progress and assist the finance team with revenue collection
- Work cross-functionally with marketing and internal teams to provide market intelligence and maximise client experience
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in exhibition sales, with a target-driven and results-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written English communication abilities
- Commercial awareness and proficiency in business software; Salesforce CRM experience is highly desirable
- Understanding of exhibition production and event cycles is an advantage; knowledge of the healthcare sector is beneficial
- Arabic language skills are an advantage
Additional Information
- Immediate start required; contract runs until 31 January 2027.
- Candidates must hold a valid UAE visa and Emirates ID; a Labour Card will be provided.
- Candidates must hold their own valid medical insurance, as this is required for the Labour Card application.
