Kitchen Technician - Franchise

Job Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen Technician to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all kitchen equipment to ensure smooth hotel operations and compliance with safety standards.

• Perform preventive maintenance on all kitchen
• Diagnose and repair faults in equipment such as ovens, stoves, fryers, dishwashers, chillers, and freezers
• Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from kitchen and F&B teams
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Coordinate with external contractors when required
• Support energy-saving initiatives and cost control measures

Work Experience

Diploma or certification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel

Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment

Basic understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work under pressure and flexible shifts

Experience in hotel or hospitality industry

Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems

Familiarity with safety regulations and HACCP standards
