Software QA Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software QA Engineer with deep expertise in at least two of the following.

● OCP SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface)

● SDK for any networking ASIC

● Layer 2 & layer 3 networking features

● Knowledge of networking ASIC pipelines

Experience on test frameworks like PyTest, PTF etc. and ASIC API library testing is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

● Test SDK & SAI features and API

● Develop test strategy and test plans for SDK & SAI features

● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration and deployment

● Participate in reviews, design discussions, and documentation efforts

Requirements

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics engineering, or a related field

● Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network software QA

● Proficient in Python

● Experience with PTF (Packet Test Framework) and PyTest for validation

● Good grasp of networking features, concepts

● Some familiarity with network ASICs and switch hardware architecture

● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

● Can do, will do attitude, and a team player

Preferred Skills:

● Experience with SAI Challenger network testing framework.

● Solid understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols (e.g., VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF).

● Familiarity with GenAI development tools
