Zensar is looking for L2 Support Engineer in Singapore

Responsibilities

  • 6 to 10 Years of experience required
  • Provide L2 support for enterprise network incidents, requests, and changes.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments.
  • Manage routing and switching infrastructure across multiple sites.
  • Support and administer firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco Firepower.
  • Manage wireless networks including Cisco, Aruba, or Meraki solutions.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively address issues.
  • Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and configuration backups.
  • Participate in network implementation, migration, and optimization projects.
  • Create and maintain network documentation and operational procedures.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve complex network issues.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Switching (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, VxLAN preferred)
  • Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower)
  • Wireless (Cisco, Aruba, Meraki)
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, and QoS.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA / CCNP
  • PCNSA / PCNSE
  • Aruba ACMP
  • Fortinet NSE

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to SD-WAN
  • Network Automation (Python, Ansible)
  • Cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
  • NAC solutions (Cisco ISE, ClearPass)
