Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled L3 Desktop Engineer cum System Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, server administration, Fortinet firewall technologies, and enterprise infrastructure management. This role requires a hands-on senior engineer and multi-task handler capable of providing Level 3 end-user support, managing day-to-day IT operations, and implementing innovative infrastructure solutions to ensure stability, security, and scalability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 3 desktop and end-user support, troubleshooting complex hardware, software, OS, network, and access-related issues.

Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including VMs, monitoring, and security controls.

Implement and enforce Azure Policies for governance, compliance, and security.

Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers (on-premises and cloud), including patching, hardening, performance monitoring, and backups.

Manage VMware virtualization environments and disaster recovery solutions, including Veeam Backup and Synology NAS backup and recovery.

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and network security policies.

Handle IT asset management and coordinate with vendors for procurement, renewals, escalations, and technical support.

Act as a multi-task handler, managing parallel support, operational, and infrastructure project activities.

Drive infrastructure innovation and implementation, improving performance, reliability, and scalability.

Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in desktop support, system administration, infrastructure, or cloud operations.

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.

knowledge of Windows & Linux server administration.

Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewall management.

Proven experience handling L3-level end-user issues.
