L3 Network Security Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 Network Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and supporting complex multi-vendor network security environments while providing expert-level escalation support and technical leadership within enterprise and MSP environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, and troubleshoot advanced multi-vendor network security solutions including NAC, MFA, SSO, NGFW, Web Proxy, Sandboxing, SASE, WAF, ADC, ZTNA, DNS Security, and Email Security platforms.
- Lead technical design discussions with customers to align cybersecurity architecture with business objectives and risk posture.
- Translate business and compliance requirements into secure, scalable, high-availability architectures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including HLD, LLD, SOW, implementation plans, GAP assessments, and operational handover documentation.
- Provide expert-level (L3) escalation support, perform deep packet and log analysis, and deliver detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
- Design and optimize routing and VPN architectures (OSPF, BGP, Policy-Based Routing, IPSec, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site).
- Lead vulnerability management initiatives including risk prioritization and remediation validation.
- Apply industry best practices including Zero Trust, OWASP, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Supervise and mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical leadership during critical incidents.
- Ensure adherence to MSP operational standards including SLA management, escalation handling, and 247 support model.
- Coordinate with vendors and provide onsite/remote support for critical deployments when required.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Network Security roles.
- Professional or expert-level certifications in Security (CCIE Security preferred; PCNSE, NSE 7/8, JNCIE-Sec, F5 Certified, CISSP highly valued).
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience within MSP environments supporting enterprise customers.
- Proven experience in large-scale, high-availability environments.
- Strong leadership capability and ability to operate with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.
