Job Description
- Check sample labeling accuracy and match with test requisitions.
- Enter patient and test information into the laboratory system (LIS).
- Assign barcodes and accession numbers to specimens.
- Sort and route samples to the appropriate lab departments.
- Ensure proper storage and handling according to safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Communicate with healthcare staff regarding missing or incorrect information.
