Job Purpose
Responsible for ensuring product quality by performing a series of analysis according to the analytic sampling plan, reporting, and monitoring.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing accurate and timeous analyses as per sample plan.
- Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological tests, record the processing of finished goods, and prepare reports.
- Prepare sensory tests to ensure consistent quality, including preparing tasting teams and training courses for the sensitive analysis program.
- Inspect raw materials, control the entry of materials according to Heineken standards, compare them with required specifications, and make quality decisions accordingly.
- Responsible for the Maintenance, Calibration and verification of the Laboratory equipment according to plan.
- Conduct internal reviews periodically to ensure quality and create statistical and scientific reports to ensure compliance and verify product conformity to specifications.
- Ensure the proper documentation of quality sheets and improve their classification with internal systems.
- Participating in efforts to improve products and operations, providing support in identifying critical control points within suggested solutions, aiding, and offering training courses to raise technical quality.
- Maintain the laboratory and related equipment, establishing standardized operating procedures, adhering to all safety rules and regulations, and following safety culture always.
- Act as a safety representative and promote safety and health practices in the workplace.
- Active participant in the PQ Pillar and carry out all needed TPM activities.
- Comply with the quality requirements relating to the various certifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry or any related scientific degree in Biochemistry and Biology.
Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a laboratory as a quality controller.
