We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lab Technician / Laboratory Teacher to support science teaching and learning across the school by ensuring the safe, effective, and organized operation of science laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, set up, and maintain laboratory equipment and materials for practical science lessons.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with health, safety, and MOE regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory inventory, chemicals, and equipment.
- Safely store, label, and dispose of chemicals and hazardous materials according to approved procedures.
- Assist in demonstrating experiments when required and support inquiry-based learning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratories at all times.
- Report any safety concerns, equipment issues, or shortages to the relevant department.
- Support cross-departmental science activities, projects, and assessments when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related field.
- Relevant experience as a Lab Technician or Laboratory Teacher (school experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
- Good organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
