We are looking for a detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to perform chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards. The role is responsible for conducting accurate laboratory testing, maintaining laboratory equipment, supporting quality control activities, and contributing to the continuous improvement of laboratory operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and physical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative laboratory tests in accordance with approved procedures
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of test results
- Record laboratory data and maintain complete and accurate testing documentation
- Support quality control activities by identifying and reporting non-conforming results
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in investigating quality issues and support root cause analysis when required
- Support the training and guidance of newly assigned laboratory personnel
- Ensure continuity of laboratory operations by delegating responsibilities to qualified team members when required under the direction of the manager
- Perform any other duties related to the position as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment
- Experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry is preferred
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control principles
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical equipment
- Good communication skills in English
