We are looking for a Laboratory Manager at the Jafurah Desalination Plant to ensure top-quality water and compliance with WHO standards, leading lab operations with excellence and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily laboratory operations.
- Lead the sampling program and ensure accurate physico-chemical and microbiological analyses.
- Implement and monitor laboratory QA/QC procedures.
- Coordinate with external laboratories when required.
- Ensure compliance with WHO drinking-water standards and Employer requirements.
- Maintain, calibrate, and optimize laboratory equipment.
- Supervise, train, and support laboratory staff.
- Provide clear reporting and collaborate with plant operations to ensure sustainable performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in quality control laboratories (water, environmental, food, or industrial sectors).
- Strong knowledge of titrimetry, spectrophotometry, gravimetric methods, and other standard analytical techniques.
- Basic knowledge of microbiological analyses.
- Proficiency in sampling and sample preparation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in water quality or environmental laboratories preferred.
