Merchant Overseas (RL1160) is looking for Laboratory Technician
Job Description / Responsibility
- Conduct physical, chemical, and microbial sampling & testing of raw materials, base powder, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Perform on-line process control testing to minimize product losses as per approved specifications.
- Carry out daily in-house calibration of laboratory equipment and maintain Analytical Quality Assurance (AQA) standards.
- Prepare long shelf-life reagents, media, and maintain clean and safe laboratory conditions.
- Report any test deviations, out-of-specification results, or non-conforming products immediately to the Laboratory Supervisor.
- Monitor laboratory chemical and media inventory to keep expenses within budget.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (H&S) standards to avoid contamination and lab accidents.
Working Conditions: The job is located at a factory site (approx. 130 KM from Riyadh). Shift duty is 12 hours/day (including 3 hours overtime), 6 days a week. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Educational Requirements
- Diploma in Health Technology and Services
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies,Food (Packaged)/Beverage
Additional Requirements
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy is mandatory.
- Fluency in Arabic will be an added advantage.
- Ability to deliver consistent analytical results and adapt to dynamic working environments.
