We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with strong hands-on experience in high-rise building construction projects in Dubai/UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate land, construction, topographic, and as-built surveys for high-rise building projects.
- Carry out setting-out works for foundations, columns, walls, slabs, cores, structural elements, and other construction activities.
- Establish and maintain benchmarks, control points, coordinates, levels, and reference points throughout the project.
- Perform precise measurements and ensure all survey works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Verify building lines, levels, elevations, dimensions, and verticality of structural and architectural elements.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure construction works are within the required tolerances.
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, reports, calculations, and as-built information.
- Read and interpret structural, architectural, civil, and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate closely with Site Engineers, Construction Managers, QA/QC teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Identify and report any discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings.
- Ensure surveying equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and used accurately.
- Support the project team with technical surveying requirements and provide accurate data for construction activities.
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with project standards, specifications, and UAE regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Land Surveyor.
- Proven experience in high-rise building construction projects is required.
- Dubai/UAE experience is mandatory.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and other surveying equipment.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant surveying software.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
