Job Description
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out accurate surveying works to support construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform topographic, boundary, and construction surveys as per project needs
- Establish and verify horizontal and vertical control points
- Conduct setting-out works for roads, utilities, structures, and buildings
- Ensure accuracy of levels, alignments, and coordinates during construction
- Review and interpret approved drawings, survey data, and benchmarks
- Coordinate with site engineers, design teams, and contractors
- Check contractor survey works and verify compliance with project standards
- Prepare and submit survey reports, as-built drawings, and records
- Ensure all survey equipment is calibrated and properly maintained
- Follow HSE requirements and site safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 58 years of experience in land surveying
- Prior experience in infrastructure / road / utilities projects
- Experience working with consultants or PMC preferred
- Proficiency in survey instruments such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar software
- Good understanding of Saudi standards and local authority requirements
- Valid SCE registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Candidate must be currently in KSA or willing to relocate to Jeddah
