Overall Purpose of the Role

Landscape Architect will be responsible for developing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and

construction documentation to ensure landscape designs are accurately translated into buildable solutions in

compliance with UAE regulations and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical

1.1 Develop detailed landscape design packages from Concept through IFC stages

1.2 Translate design intent into buildable, code-compliant technical solutions

1.3 Prepare and review hardscape, softscape, grading, and drainage details

1.4 Produce and review technical drawings, sections, details, and schedules

1.5 Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals

2. Coordination

2.1 Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical clashes.

2.2 Review shop drawings and material submittals.

3. QA/QC

3.1 Conduct site visits to ensure works align with approved drawings and specifications.

3.2 Maintain technical accuracy and documentation quality.

4. Stakeholders & Business Development

4.1 Assist in technical presentations to clients and authorities when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).

56 years of professional experience in landscape technical design and documentation.

Minimum 3 years of UAE experience.

Strong knowledge of local authority submission processes (DMT, ADM, RTA, Municipality approvals).

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM coordination is an advantage.

Strong understanding of landscape construction detailing, materials, and specifications.
