Responsibilities:

Design and detail hard and soft landscape for architectural and urban design projects

Preparation of technical package through to tender

Coordination with other relevant disciplines such as Irrigation Designers, Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical engineers, Architects, Master Planners and Quantity Surveyors

Full understanding of the planting and irrigation requirements/standards and guidelines as per region

Support the design team with construction supervision and site management

Work closely with design groups and external landscape consultants to support project

teams in creating sustainable landscape designs

Promote good landscape design throughout the practice

Research and advise on suitable design solutions, particularly the horticultural aspects

Support the design teams on architectural projects

Thorough knowledge of and compliance with procedures and standards

Constructively manage project scope and resource

Undertake to manage a smaller landscape group in the production of information and design

development on multiple projects.

Provide regular project reporting to senior group members.

Qualities and Skills required:

Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities

Prior knowledge of landscape construction detailing in compliance with Gulf Standards

Experience of landscape planning process and regulations

Working knowledge of plants used in design and specifications required to implement the

project.

Experience of work with BIM and BIM coordinated projects.

Excellent organizational skills both personally and as the lead of a team.

Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information

Self-motivated and able to take responsibility

Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
