Job Description

Mirage is seeking a Site-Based Landscape Engineer to supervise and manage the execution of high-end landscape works across luxury leisure and development projects. The role is fully site-based and requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on supervision, and the ability to ensure that all landscape works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Project Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in landscape site supervision or engineering roles
  • Strong experience in luxury hospitality, leisure, or large-scale development projects preferred
  • Solid understanding of softscape and hardscape construction methods and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Proficiency in relevant landscaping software, at least CAD
  • Strong site coordination, supervision, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Experience in Middle East landscape projects is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily site activities for all landscape works including softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and site furnishings
  • Ensure execution of works strictly in line with approved drawings, specifications, and Mirage Leisure & Development standards
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to ensure smooth site progress
  • Monitor site progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship
  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and method statements prior to execution
  • Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards
  • Identify and resolve technical issues on site in coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure proper implementation of planting, paving, irrigation systems, and landscape detailing
  • Maintain site records including progress reports, inspections, and as-built documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
  • Support snagging, handover, and close-out activities to ensure high-quality project delivery
