Mirage is seeking a Site-Based Landscape Engineer to supervise and manage the execution of high-end landscape works across luxury leisure and development projects. The role is fully site-based and requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on supervision, and the ability to ensure that all landscape works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Project Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in landscape site supervision or engineering roles
- Strong experience in luxury hospitality, leisure, or large-scale development projects preferred
- Solid understanding of softscape and hardscape construction methods and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Proficiency in relevant landscaping software, at least CAD
- Strong site coordination, supervision, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work full-time on-site in a fast-paced construction environment
- Experience in Middle East landscape projects is highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site activities for all landscape works including softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and site furnishings
- Ensure execution of works strictly in line with approved drawings, specifications, and Mirage Leisure & Development standards
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to ensure smooth site progress
- Monitor site progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and method statements prior to execution
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards
- Identify and resolve technical issues on site in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure proper implementation of planting, paving, irrigation systems, and landscape detailing
- Maintain site records including progress reports, inspections, and as-built documentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
- Support snagging, handover, and close-out activities to ensure high-quality project delivery
