Job Description

Job Summary:

The Landscape Technical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting all technical aspects of landscape projects. This role ensures the smooth execution of landscape designs from concept to completion, maintaining quality, compliance with specifications, and adherence to timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

  • Coordinate landscape activities across multiple projects.
  • Assist in scheduling and tracking project timelines, materials, and resources.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Technical Support:

  • Review landscape design drawings and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance on planting, irrigation, soil preparation, and landscaping materials.
  • Assist in preparing BOQs, material submittals, and technical reports.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Ensure all work meets design specifications, local regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and report on progress, quality, and any discrepancies.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, contracts, and vendor communications.
  • Prepare technical reports, site observations, and progress updates for management.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with landscape designers, architects, and engineers to resolve technical issues.
  • Support the procurement team with technical specifications for landscape materials and plants.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 25 years of experience in landscape project coordination or technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape design, horticulture, irrigation, and site preparation.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, or public landscaping projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and green landscaping practices.
