Job Summary:
Livbnb Holiday Homes is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all laundry operations, ensuring high cleanliness standards for linens, towels, and other household fabrics used in our holiday rental properties. The role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and adherence to hygiene and quality standards to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, and wash linens, towels, and other fabrics from holiday home units.
- Operate washing, drying, and ironing machines according to prescribed standards.
- Inspect cleaned laundry for stains, damage, or improper cleaning, and take corrective measures.
- Fold, organize, and package clean linens neatly for storage and redistribution.
- Maintain laundry equipment by following cleaning and maintenance protocols.
- Track inventory levels of cleaning detergents, fabric softeners, and laundry supplies, and report shortages.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety regulations, preventing cross-contamination.
- Work collaboratively with housekeeping and property management teams to ensure timely linen delivery.
- Assist in other housekeeping duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in hospitality.
- Familiarity with industrial washing machines and laundry chemicals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and fold heavy loads of laundry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills in English.
