Lead Analytics Consultant – Supply Chain Resilience

About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager of Analytics to lead a small team of specialists delivering high-impact data solutions for our global manufacturing operations. This role requires both people leadership and deep technical expertise. You will manage the analytics roadmap, mentor team members, and personally contribute to complex analysis and model development. Background in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2–3 analytics specialists, managing workload and project allocation
- Partner with senior leaders to define the analytics roadmap and translate business challenges into measurable analytical projects
- Remain hands-on with data – undertake complex analysis, model development, and dashboard creation for high-priority initiatives
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, timeline management, and quality assurance
- Establish best practices for data analysis, model validation, and governance within the team
- Serve as the key liaison between analytics, data engineering, IT, and global business units
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or a related quantitative field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in data analytics
- 2+ years in a team lead or management capacity
- Essential background in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or complex engineering environments
- Deep understanding of product data structures and production workflows
- Demonstrated ability to be both a strategic leader and a hands-on contributor
Technical Expertise Required
- Advanced analytics languages: SQL, Python, R
- Data visualization and BI platforms: Power BI or Tableau
- Statistical modeling and predictive analytics
Additional Requirements
- Strong project and people management skills with a track record of delivering analytics projects through a team
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with both technical teams and executive leadership
- Proven experience working in a global, diverse environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with supply chain resilience, supply chain performance, or data analytic resilience
