Our client is a major petrochemical operation known for producing high‑quality chemicals, plastics, and industrial materials used around the world. It operates large, integrated plants and plays a vital role in supplying key sectors like manufacturing, construction, and consumer products.
Responsibilities
- Strong expertise in international instrumentation and analyzer standards (API, IEC, ISA, NFPA, PIP, ASME, ANSI) and industry best practices.
- Lead analyzer engineering activities across PDP, FEED, basic and detailed engineering, including datasheets, specifications, RFQs, and technical bid evaluations.
- Select, design, review, and approve analyzer systems based on process conditions, including sample lag time analysis and value engineering.
- Troubleshoot analyzer malfunctions, perform root cause analysis, and work closely with vendors and operations to resolve chronic issues.
- Develop and maintain instrumentation/analyzer standards, support proposals, and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or chemical processing environments.
- Proven hands‑on experience delivering projects across PDP and FEED phases is required.
- Strong capability to prepare analyzer ITBs and manage the full technical bid process through evaluation, clarification, and contract award.
- Demonstrated expertise reviewing and approving analyzer‑related PDP, basic and detailed engineering deliverables, design criteria, calculations, and drawings.
