DAR AL OMRAN Engineering Consultants

DAR AL OMRAN is a leading limited liability regional engineering consulting company established in 1979; The firm specializes in providing tailored, sustainable, and innovative solutions for major development, infrastructure, and building projects, prioritizing quality work and advanced technical knowledge.

Pillar 1: Technical Overview & Quality

  • Provide technical oversight for all architecture projects across offices.
  • Review and enhance the quality of technical drawings, documents, and submissions, ensuring alignment
  • with international best practices and regional regulations.
  • Establish and monitor quality control procedures to ensure consistency across all branches.
  • Mentor senior architects and technical staff in improving detailing, documentation, and specifications.
  • Act as the final reviewer for critical design packages before submission.
  • Lead Critical Mission Facilities design, create solutions for Clients, transfer knowledge and build business
  • vertical inside organization.

Pillar 2: Delivery Management

  • Oversee the timely delivery of all architecture submissions across branches.
  • Develop systems to streamline workflows, ensuring efficiency from concept to construction
  • documentation.
  • Monitor project schedules to guarantee submissions are on time and without delays.
  • Implement standardized processes for reporting, progress tracking, and escalation of risks/issues.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with other disciplines (engineering, landscape, interiors).

Pillar 3: Resource Management & Allocation

  • Manage staffing and workload distribution across UAE, Jordan, and KSA offices.
  • Ensure full utilization of all team members, balancing business needs with individual professional growth.
  • Identify skills gaps and arrange targeted training and mentoring programs.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration between branches, leveraging talent across borders.
  • Conduct regular technical evaluations of staff performance, with clear career development pathways.
  • Ensure proper knowledge share between the team members on different skills.
  • Qualify, plan and enable timely outsourced individual and firms to maintain successful delivery of projects.

Pillar 4: Resources Expansion (Amman, India and Egypt Focused)

  • Lead the growth strategy for the Amman office, positioning it as a competitive regional design hub.
  • Drive talent acquisition by attracting top architects and technical experts.
  • Implement structured training and retention programs to build long-term team loyalty.
  • Promote knowledge transfer between UAE, KSA, and Jordan teams to elevate the Amman branch's
  • technical and design output.
  • Align the Amman office's expansion with the firm's broader business objectives.
  • Lead the process of finding suitable and qualified studios, consultants with small scale to support the projects demands during peak or shortage periods.
  • Lead the expansion of the resources in India and Egypt potential future physical locations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of external partners to ensure continued quality and efficiency.

Pillar 5: Business Development

  • Support leadership in winning new business opportunities across all regions, while providing particular
  • attention to Abu Dhabi market
  • Build relationships with clients, developers, and government bodies to expand Dar Al Omran's portfolio.
  • Contribute to the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations, emphasizing the architecture
  • department's strengths.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and BD teams to position the firm competitively in the region.

Pillar 6: Awards, Exhibitions and Events

  • Participate actively and eagerly on Exhibition, Events, Magazines and Awards to promote and market DAR AL OMRAN branches across all branches.
  • Participate in Universities campaigns and lectures to seek talented architects and promote DAR AL OMRAN position
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all external platforms and promotional opportunities.

Pillar 7: Maintain Client's Relationships

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure continued
  • satisfaction and business growth.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are understood, met, and aligned with DAR AL OMRAN's service standards.
  • Proactively engage with clients through regular meetings, updates, and feedback sessions to strengthen trust and collaboration.
  • Address client concerns or issues promptly and effectively, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions and maintain client confidence.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services for existing clients.

Pillar 8: Support Supervision Services

  • Provide site visits and technical Architecture review for the contractor's submittals on site.
  • Review and approve shop drawings/ material submittals.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or master's in architecture from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 15+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple teams or office branches.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale architectural projects in the Middle East.
  • Strong technical knowledge of design codes, standards, and construction processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-border teams and drive organizational growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
