Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline with 8+ years of experience in AS400/IBM i administration and application support within Banking or Financial Services.
- Lead AS400 (IBM i) CACS de-migration initiatives, including legacy system analysis, data extraction, documentation, and migration planning across multiple business units.
- Analyze and support RPG/RPGLE, COBOL/400, CL/CLLE programs, DB2/400 databases, batch jobs, and legacy application components.
- Provide technical leadership for AS400 application development, administration, production support, and performance optimization in Collections & Recovery systems.
- Monitor system health, perform code reviews, troubleshoot production incidents, and ensure high availability and stability of the AS400 environment.
- Manage complex batch processing, job scheduling, secure file transfers (SFTP), MQ integrations, and interface connectivity with core banking systems.
- Administer and optimize DB2/400, SQL queries, deployment tools (Aldon/Arcad), and Control-M scheduling processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT governance, infrastructure teams, and offshore delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulatory standards, change management processes, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) governance.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of CACS (Collections & Recovery System) and banking operations with hands-on experience in AS400 environments.
- Drive technical documentation, root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives for legacy platform modernization.
